Maigue View is a beautifully restored 100 year old traditional townhouse, with all modern amenities to ensure your comfort.
The house is bursting with character and charm and is ideally situated beside the River Maigue in the historic town of Croom. Relax and unwind with family and friends, take a stroll in the beautiful town park by the riverbank. Ideally located just a 5 mins drive to the picturesque town of Adare, 15 mins from Limerick City and just 30 mins from Shannon airport.
The house is adjacent to Croom Park, a 13 acre picturesque green space beside the beautiful River Maigue. These natural surroundings provides ample space for walking, jogging and leisure activities. You can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the riverbank or explore the parks well maintained pathways. The parks picnic spots offer pleasant areas where visitors can enjoy outdoor meals with family and friends. The park's custodians preserve and look after the surroundings, the wild life and biodiversity. Historical landmarks are carefully restored to provide insights into the areas past. Croom town and it's surrounding areas offers great restaurants, pubs, and shops.
Getting Around
'Maigue View' is located just off the main Cork and Limerick road (N20), making it an ideal central touring base to visit the West of Ireland most renowned attractions in the Munster counties of Limerick, Clare, Cork, Kerry, and Tipperary. Ireland’s capital city of Dublin, is a mere two hour drive. Ideally located just a 5 minute drive to the picturesque town of Adare, and Limerick city is a short 15 minute drive away. Bunratty Castle and Folk Park just 25 minutes drive and 30 minutes drive from Shannon airport.
County Clare is home to the very unique Burren karst landscape and the majestic Cliffs of Moher are a 1 hour drive away.
County Kerry is renowned for its many attractions like the pretty towns of Killarney and Dingle and the famous Ring of Kerry. Cork city and Cashel (Rock of Cashel) are easy to get to in an hours drive.

Explore Knockfierna hill's various walking trails, and discover the areas history and heritage. It's worth the walk for the panoramic vista at the top.
Visit the picturesque lake of Lough Gur and it's archaeological sites, or enjoy a leisurely stroll or a family outing in Curraghchase forest park.
